Common support questions
Why can I not open a project?
Sign in with the account that owns the project or ask the project owner to share it with your registered email address. Viewer access is read-only; editor access permits project changes.
Why can I view inputs but not save changes?
The project may have been shared with you as a viewer. The project owner can change your role to editor from the project access section.
Why does a result say Review?
Open the named component and check its inputs and calculation detail. Review can indicate missing, inconsistent or unresolved data; it should not be hidden by the overall summary.
Where should U-value and SHGC data come from?
Use the built-in designer for a documented design estimate or enter suitable project-specific product data. Retain the source used for the issued assessment.
How do I report a calculation problem?
Record the project name, section, input values, expected result, observed result and application version. Do not include passwords or unnecessary personal information.
Is the training material a copy of the standard?
No. Training explains how to use the Fencalc workflow. Users still need access to the official standard and the professional judgement appropriate to their project.
